Missy's Story

Missy has resurfaced on the blues rock scene after a long hiatus. A series of unfortunate events in her early music career derailed Missy. She left New York City and went back to graduate school for Special Education, and started working with students mainly on the autism spectrum. Her new career was both challenging and rewarding, and a good fit as she settled down on the east end of Long Island. Missy was content singing to her new baby boy, Will. After her divorce and some other life-altering events, Missy decided to get back to her first love - music. She started singing and writing again, performing at local open mics and getting back in the groove. Fast forward to a chance meeting at LaGuardia airport, where Missy runs into the boyz - Robert Williams and Michael Boris - who were touring with a rising country star. That summer, Missy found herself in Nashville, recording her first EP with the wizard/producer/guitarist Robert and uber-talented drummer Michael. Within the year, the EP morphed into Missy's first full-length album "Hiding". Missy pours her life experience into her lyrics, and her rich, bluesy vocals are complemented by Robert's masterful guitar work and Michael's hard hitting drums. The combination results in a 70's rock vibe enhanced by modern technology.
